Jazz Dock Orchestra - modern big band in Jazz Dock

As part of its June program, the Jazz Dock Orchestra will present another concert of classic big band music! This time, they will focus on jazz orchestral legends such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Oliver Nelson, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones, and Bob Brookmeyer!
The Jazz Dock Orchestra is a modern jazz big band of European level focused on original compositions and interpretations of the classic big band songbook. In the six years of its successful existence, the orchestra has become the "flagship" of the Jazz Dock club and has worked with world class musicians such as Kurt Elling, Richard Bona, Ben Wendel, Niels Klein and others. Precise yet lively interplay, great solos and quality scores have brought the big band great renown in the wider context of the European jazz scene.

Jazz Dock´s ten-meter-long futuristic bar is full of traditional and proven drinks and cocktails as well as specialities and news for anyone with a fantasy. You can also enjoy Jazz Dock kitchen´s delicatessen and treat yourself to a tasty dinner, all the time during the musical production.
Our experience:
We had a very pleasant jazz evening with this group of professional musicians and in the warm atmosphere of the Jazz Dock. The soloists were all superb, especially Marcel Bárta's saxophone solos were breathtaking.
