Two masterpieces, one by Khachaturian, another by Tchaikovsky, are performed during the final rehearsal
Conductor Petr Altrichter reunites with pianist Igor Ardašev and the Prague Symphony Orchestra for a program of powerful contrasts and emotional intensity. Khachaturian's Piano Concerto combines virtuosic brilliance with sweeping lyricism, before Tchaikovsky's deeply moving Pathétique Symphony brings the evening to its unforgettable conclusion.
