The Czech Philharmonic and violinist Karen Gomyo present a program ranging from contemporary music to Mussorgsky, with works by Bruch in between
To begin the evening, Frenzy, by the contemporary American composer John Adams, will take us into the depths of madness caused by information overload, and then at the concert’s end, we turn our attention to Pictures at an Exhibition. In between, we will hear the violinist Karen Gomyo, who likes to think about aspects of music the composer has expressed not in the notation, but between the lines.

Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26 - Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky (arr. by Maurice Ravel)
