Composer and pianist Aaron Parks will perform with his project Little Big
Aaron Parks began to make a name for himself at the turn of the millennium. In the noughties, he came to prominence primarily as a sideman for Terence Blanchard. He achieved real success with his fifth album, Invisible Cinema, in 2008, released on the prestigious Blue Note label. The recording Little Big represents a deliberate return to the electric sound of Invisible Cinema. Featuring the same line-up of electric guitar, bass, and drums, albeit with new musicians. The sound of the album was once again inspired by the indie-rock scene, among others.
Aaron Parks – piano; Greg Tuohey – guitar; Simon Jermyn – bass; Tommy Crane – drums
