The originally Romanesque church belongs to one of the oldest churches in Prague

The church is named after Pope St. Kliment (1st century), whose remains were brought to the Czech lands by the Czech saints - Sts. Cyril and Methodius in the 9th century, and is connected to the beginning of Christianity in the Czech lands. Originally, two Romanesque churches once stood on the site of today's Gothic church. The church underwent many reconstructions and now belongs to the Evangelical Church of the Bohemian Brethren.
