The king of tango: Piazzolla tribute concert in Prague
Whenever the music of Latin America is mentioned, Ástor Piazzolla's name is never far behind. The Czech Chamber Music Society (one of the oldest and most renowned musical institutions in the Czech Republic) welcomes the King of the Tango onto its programme — the composer who lifted the dance to an entirely new level of artistry. Opening the evening with a tribute to his music is a compelling and somewhat unexpected pairing: violin and percussion, brought to life by Ludmila Pavlová and Štěpán Hon.
