Kratochvíl / Ackerman / Zangi - three legendary jazzmen

Unique combination of three legendary jazzmen from the Czech Republic, the United States and Iran. Martin Kratochvíl - the first deputy of jazz-rock in Central Europe, Tony Ackerman - brilliant guitarist with his unusual 7-string guitar and Imran Musa Zangi - excellent drummer who expand the whole musical show on the conga and bongos.

First-rate local and international jazz musicians, a unique atmosphere of a 14th-century vault, and friendly prices for drinks, including original AghaRTA drinks as well as Pilsner Urquell tap beer. Agharta is one of the best places for Prague's jazz concert scene!

Since 1991, the AghaRTA Jazz Centre has drawn lovers of jazz by its top quality program. The dramaturgy of the club revolves around three main ideas: to present top Czech jazz musicians (Jiří Stivín Emil Viklický, Luboš Andršt etc.), to introduce jazz musicians who began their career in this Prague jazz club and made it to the top (Roman Pokorný, David Dorůžka, Robert Balzar, Yvonne Sanchez and many others), and to support young talented musicians providing a platform for their presentation.
