Janine Jansen: Beethoven, Franck & Debussy at Dvořák Hall, Rudolfinum
One of today’s foremost violinists and this year’s Czech Philharmonic Artist-in-Residence, Janine Jansen, performs tonight with pianist Alexandre Kantorow. Thanks to Jansen, we will again be commemorating Beethoven, and then we will hear one of the most famous sonatas of the 19th century, Franck’s great Sonata in A major. Then comes Claude Debussy’s Violin Sonata, his last completed work.
