The Violin Sonatas of Beethoven: an evening of Viennese Classicism at Prague's Rudolfinum
Beethoven’s violin sonatas are among the jewels of the literature for the instrument. Tonight we will hear the first four of Beethoven’s ten violin sonatas, in which one hears Viennese Classicism and the influence of Beethoven’s teacher Salieri.
