Great place to stop by throughout the year and especially in the summer when you can visit some nice cultural events. This early Baroque garden was commissioned in parallel with the construction of the Wallenstein Palace from 1623 to 1629 by Albrecht of Wallenstein who was at that time one of the most powerful Czech nobleman. Nowadays, the Wallenstein Palace is the seat of the Senate of the Czech Republic.
In the garden which is divided into several sections you can admire peacocks, observe beautiful fish and ducks in the garden pond, and ospreys in the aviary. The original statues were created by the Dutch sculptor Adriaen De Vries. The most unique feature of the garden is the artificial dripstone wall with grottoes.
