A museum of the famous composer Bedřich Smetana is located next to the Charles Bridge.

Bedřich Smetana belongs to the best and most renowned Czech composers of classical music. The museum dedicated to his life and work is located in a beautiful neo-Renaissance building next to the Charles Bridge. See a remarkable collection of his relics and documents originating from the composer´s estate, including his personal piano. 

Details:

The building of the former Old Town Waterworks on the bank of the Vltava River houses a permanent exhibition documenting not only Smetana´s life and work, but also his era and the dissemination and reception of his works. This exhibition is complemented by short-term thematic exhibitions, and occasional concerts are held here.
