The John of Luxembourgh Hall is located within the premises of the Minorite monastery of St. James,

founded in the 13th century. The monastery is a part of the Basilica of St. James. The monastery has recently been opened to the public after many years of inaccessibility. If you wish, you can also tour the monastery. More details here. 

Did you know?

In 1311, the wedding feast of John of Luxembourg and Eliška Premyslovna took place in this hall. In these premises, around 1337, John of Luxembourg also held a wedding feast with his second wife, Princess Beatrice of France.  At that time, this hall was the largest in Prague.
