The 13th-century monastery is part of the St. James Basilica in the Old Town area. Walk around and feel the history.

The medieval monastery has recently been opened to the public after many years of closure. The main goal of the current tenants who rent the complex from the monks is to greet and meet everyone regardless of their beliefs. To connect and enjoy the sacred space together.

The monastery is unique for its architectural style, from the Gothic to the High Baroque period. In the 14th and 17th centuries, the monastery was destroyed by fire. The sacred space is also connected to the Czech kings. The botanical garden inside the complex was founded by King Charles IV's apothecary. The emperor himself loved the garden.
