1. Our story: from a little shop on Old Town Square to your screen

  • 1995: our brick-and-mortar store opened on Old Town Square. It all started with a small classical music shop in the heart of Prague, selling classical music CDs to music lovers passing by. It wasn't long before visitors started asking us about concerts too, so we began selling tickets as well.
  • 2009: We built our e-shop. At the time, we were running the concerts at the Church of Our Lady before Týn and selling tickets for them in our shop. Customers kept asking us about other concerts in Prague, so we started building an online ticket office, first for concerts in the centre of Prague.
  • Growing with Prague's big stages. Step by step, we expanded our program. Today we work with the National Theatre, the Czech Philharmonic and Prague's major orchestras, bringing their performances to visitors from abroad.
  • 2020: fully online. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we said a fond goodbye to our Old Town Square shop. Since then, we have been an online ticket office, and we put all our energy into making booking simple, safe and friendly.

3. Meet the team

We are a small team of music and culture enthusiasts from Prague who have worked together for many years. Here's who you'll be dealing with:

  • Daniela, CEO. Daniela founded both the brick-and-mortar store and the website. She is the chief and heart of Prague Ticket Office. 
  • Martina, accounts and event program. Martina keeps our accounts in order and enters every event date into our system, so the program you see online is always up to date. She is a true gem not just to us, but also to our business partners. 
  • Michal, IT programmer. Michal built and looks after the technology behind our administrative system and e-shop, from the booking system to secure payments.
  • Eva, French SEO copywriter. Together with Daniela, Eva built the website in English and nowadays writes our French pages, so our French-speaking visitors can read about Prague's concerts in their own language. 
  • Michaela, German SEO copywriter. Michaela takes care of everything our German-speaking customers read on our site. She is one of the most sought-after translators in Czechia. 
  • Kristina, English and Czech SEO copywriter and webmaster. Kristina writes our English and Czech content and keeps the whole website running smoothly. She also answers all your e-mails and the hotline.
