This chamber music concert will offer a cross-section of both less performed and notoriously known composers

The Romanian composer and violinist George Enescu, whose works are inspired by Romanian folk music, is one of the greatest composers of his country. The evening is also dedicated to Dmitri Shostakovich. Two of his works will be heard, one of which is the demanding String Quartet No. 8.

  • Dmitri Shostakovich | String Quartet No. 8 in C minor, Op. 110
