Le théâtre Reduta a accueilli sa première représentation en 1957 et depuis, il présente diverses productions

L'histoire du Club de jazz et théâtre Reduta commence en 1957 quand une petite scène de théâtre expérimental est ouverte ici. Ce sont surtout les « text appeals » locaux, improvisations jouées par des acteurs de renom, organisés ici, qui deviennent vite très populaires.

Au fil des ans, d'autres groupes excellents et créatifs ont trouvé leur domicile temporaire dans la Reduta, comme l'ensemble Paravan avec J. R. Pick, Divadlo Járy Cimrmana, comédiens O. Kaiser et J. Lábus, Pantomime d'Alfred Jarry, et beaucoup d'autres. Après la Révolution de velours, une nouvelle voie s'est ouverte pour la dramaturgie libre du théâtre Reduta, qui met en vedette de nouveaux projets d'artistes connus et émergents.

L'entrée au théâtre est à travers le Club de jazz Reduta. Le théâtre se trouve à l'intérieur du Club de jazz Reduta.

The chairs were comfortable. However, in the front rows they were all at the same level, which makes it harder to see for some.

An old venue that needs some maintenance, but the good part is that it is small and the audience are very close to the stage.

Very cozy, with good acoustic and possibilities to have drinks. Room isn’t big and this is a plus because it allows a more engaging experience.

Uncomfortable chairs, no significant height gradient for the rows so persons in front block the view.
