Le Théâtre Noir Image remonte à 1989 et depuis le début il compte parmi les théâtres noirs les plus réussis de la République tchèque. Image est bien connu non seulement par les touristes visitant Prague et les citoyens praguois mais aussi à l’étranger. Le Théâtre Image a développé son propre style, employant brillamment la technique du théâtre noir, la danse moderne, les costumes originaux, la pantomime ainsi que le contact avec le public.
Plus de 8000 spectacles et près de 2 millions de spectateurs en vingt-cinq ans ne sont certainement pas les deux seuls indices permettant de mesurer le succès du Théâtre Image. La partie essentielle reste la même – satisfaire le public.

The woman at the ticket counter was lovely as well as most helpful. We were comfortable in our seats, had a very good view of the stage and the size of the venue was comfortable also.

There are two Dark Light Theaters in the same venue. The one that is more visible is not the one I bought tickets for. We were late for the show because we got completely confused at the venue, the counter of the other theater being closed... Otherwise, the venue was very nice, once you managed to find it.

The seating is not at a good incline, so your view may be blocked or impaired by the people sitting in front of you. There is no facilities for handicapped people - no elevators. The theater is two floors beneath ground level.

PragueTicketOffice: Dear client, not sure which theatre you visited, but the Image Theatre hall has a massive elevation, which offers a perfect visibility from all seats, each row of seats is on a separate step. There are reserved accessible seats for disabled visitors in the auditorium. Lift and adapted toilets are available. Comfortable wheelchair access to all public areas of the theatre is provided.
