Our lives move in spirals – from the double helix of our DNA to the rituals of everyday existence. They repeat, they transform; sometimes they rise upwards, at other times they spiral downwards, but they never return to the same place. The production combines elements of dance, theatre, mime, music, projection and design into synchronised and constantly evolving loops. It tells the story of a relationship falling apart, in which memories of the past are transformed into a kaleidoscopic visual language.  

Apartment 24 offers a fresh perspective on dance theatre; it is a work brimming with detailed and deeply nuanced physical storytelling, where movement becomes memory and repetition becomes revelation. It imbues everyday gestures with virtuoso precision, thereby unveiling an intimate story of love, loss and anxiety. Like a Swiss watch slowly tearing its own heart from its body.

Komedie Theatre

The theatre offers audiences performances by contemporary playwrights, works by foreign playwrights, exhibitions and contemporary dance performances

The Komedie Theatre is located in the basement storeys of an office and commercial building constructed between 1928 and 1930 according to the design of architect Josef Karel Říha. The theatre underwent several reconstructions over the years. In the 30s and 40s, the famous Czech actor Vlasta Burian performed there. Throughout history, the theatre has had several owners; the last one is the theatre organisation "Městská divadla pražská", which owns several Prague theatres.
