• In this concert, the choir is placed by the organ in the gallery of the church, at the spot designed for the best musical performance, and also for the reason to enable a perfect harmony between all of the performers. The choir therefore will not stand in front of the listeners.
• St. Nicholas Church opens for concert visitors 15 minutes before the concert
• No intermission
• The concert is free of charge for children under 10 years old

St. Nicholas Church Lesser Town

St. Nicholas Church: a gem of Prague´s Baroque architecture with long tradition of organ and classical concerts

The most famous Baroque church in Prague, The Church of St Nicholas, can be found on the Lesser Town square next to the former Jesuit college. With the neighbouring belfry, St Nicholas is the most distinctive landmark in the Lesser Town, completing the unique panorama of Prague. 

The Church of St Nicholas, designed according to the model of main Jesuit church Il Gesù in Rome, is a superb example of High Baroque architecture, a temple that astonishes with its size and magnificently decorated interior.
