Les Noces de Figaro

Orquesta magnífica. Los cantantes expendidos. La escenografía muy pobre. No deberían adaptar las óperas a la actualidad y tomarse tantas licencias artistas. Merece la pena por la música, pero si cierras los ojos, no te pierdes mucho.

The subtitles were perfectly placed for the upper galleries to read easily. The performance was perfect and the orchestra were amazing to listen to.

Excellent performance at a beautiful theater. All of my opera experiences at Prague have been positive due to reasonable ticket prices, stunning venues, and talented casts. Highly recommend!

We were delighted how easy it was to not only find quality classical performances in Prague, but the ease of selection and buying tickets through this website as well. The performance of Mozart's Opera, Marriage of Figaro, though strangely art directed, was excellent.

The staging was excellent. I was surprised by the mess on stage; the blood, popcorn, champagne, tearing of paper, smashing of wine glasses!! It makes the entire experience so real and intimate. Also, the video clips were very well filmed and and great addition to the story plot.

Didn’t care for modern rendition of Figaro — was not what I expected

Très bonne qualité musicale. La mise en scène assez moderne nous a un peu déçus.

A painfully mundane and uninspired production in the stage design of a school club which sometimes makes you smile involuntarily. Good orchestra, good artists. Now someone who can stage an opera and does not rush for cheap effects (I only say: solo entertainer with Western melody to lighten things up) would do the trick.

This is a beautiful theatre. The orchestra was superb, balanced, elegant, clean and deeply musical. The cast was excellent but I thought the production was needlessly vulgar, diminishing the dignity of the Countess in particular.

I felt the performance was messy and not as professional as I was expecting. There were some arias well sung though.

Really enjoyed the performance. Lots of strong voices and stage presence. Loved the sets and the imagery overlays. Performers playing the Countess and Barbarina we're particularly good. Found myself rivited to the performance.

This was an excellent and very entertaining interpretation of the opera. Of course the music is magical, but the voices were also excellent - bravo Figaro! and so was the acting - it was a great production and a great cast. I loved the set, particularly the garden, and the housing estate. The orchestra was wonderful, and the non-orchestra music between the scenes was a great addition.

L'opéra a été modernisé, avec un rajout de musiques pour introduire les personnages et de petites séquences de films projetés sur le rideau de la scène. C'est assez original et cela apporte vraiment quelque chose à l'ambiance. C'était une jolie interprétation.
