The history of the "U Medvidku" Brewery, located directly in Prague city centre, close to the National Theatre, goes back to the beginnings of the 1466. The Brewery bears the name of its founder, Mr. Jan Nedvidek.
U Medvidku Brewery prides itself for observing the original procedures of beer production. Their 13-degree semi dark lager Oldgott is a local specialty and you can taste it during the Brewery Tour and Beer Tasting U Medvidku.
U Medvidku Brewery Restaurant is a traditional Prague pub with typical Czech cuisine, a beer bar with a wide selection of Czech beer, and a shop offering beer and brewery souvenirs.
The Restaurant also has its own theater hall, called Cabaret; a historic hall with a late-Gothic rafters (160 meters) with a total capacity of 120 seats and a stage of size about 20 m. Here, the first Prague cabaret used to take place with great success and today’s Show U Medvidku follows up this tradition.
