John Lennon Wall
is located in Lesser Town. The wall in after John Lennon´s death) became sort of a meeting point for young people fighting against the communist regime, singing (not only) Lennon´s songs, risking to be jailed...Nowadays, the wall is filled with positive and love messages, graffitis from people all around the world.
was founded by King Charles IV in the 14th century. In 1989, large demonstrations during "the Velvet Revolution" were held here.
The Old Town Square
is Prague´s main square appreciated by historians for a rare mixture of architectural styles. Many historical monuments are to be seen here, such as unique Astronomical Clock adorning the Old Town City Hall, the fairy tale like Church of Our Lady before Tyn or magnificent St Nicholas church.
