“The ancient splendour and beauty of Prague, a city beyond compare, left an impression on my imagination that will never fade.” – Richard Wagner

Prague is said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Take a walk on the streets laid in cobblestone, climb to the Prague Castle and enjoy the views laid in front of you. Find out about the history of the Jewish Quarter, visit the John Lennon´s Wall and go back in time in the Old Town Square,  Memories of Prague will never fade away.

Great places to visit in Prague for classical music:

Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral

feel the historical and magical atmosphere of this major symbol of the Czech land. The biggest castle complex in the world covers over 7 hectares (18 acres). The whole castle grounds are dominated by the breathtaking St. Vitus Cathedral where the international organ festival takes place every summer.

Jewish Quarter

the Jewish Quarter in Prague is located between the Old Town Square and the Vltava River. There are six synagogues in the Jewish Quarter (including the Spanish Synagogue  and Old-New Synagogue which is the oldest still existing synagogue in Europe), the Jewish Ceremonial Hall, and the Old Jewish Cemetery, the largest one in Europe. Check out the program of the Spanish Synagogue for a classical music concert!

The Old Town Square

is Prague´s main square appreciated by historians for a rare mixture of architectural styles. Many historical monuments are to be seen here, such as unique Astronomical Clock adorning the Old Town City Hall, the fairy tale like Church of Our Lady before Týn or magnificent St. Nicholas Church.

Great jazz clubs to visit in Prague:

In spring, the Jazz Boat wakes up after the winter break and is ready to take you on a Vltava river cruise. Special thing about Jazz Boat is its great family-like atmospehere, carefully chosen program to suit the audience and lovely dinner.

Reduta Jazz Club is in every guidebook about Prague since it' such a legendary place to visit. so...don't miss it! Jazz & Blues Club Ungelt near the Old Town Square offers great blues program and is right in the center of Prague. And Jazz Dock standing on the Vltava river (and not moving!) has become one of the top places to visit in Prague. Why? Because of its dramaturgy, great bar and beautiful venue!
