Immerse yourself in a stunning and mysterious story and get to know the love affairs of one of the greatest musicians of all times
The successful music show VIVALDIANNO in an original way connects the music of the genius composer Antonio Vivaldi with his extraordinary destiny and the wonders of modern technology.
A performance with elements of art-rock sensitively mixed with Baroque music and stunning ceiling visual effects will appeal to both family audiences, young listeners and classical music fans of all generations.
VIVALDIANNO THE SHOW, a visually newly modified version, literally draws viewers into the slightly chilling story of the baroque genius Antonio Vivaldi, which takes place in a radiant Venice. Thanks to the combination of 3D effects, modern choreography and interactive projections, the audience can expect a truly exceptional experience. The authors of the 3D projections and visuals are Czech animators from the Incognito studio. They reflect the beauty of the Baroque, Venice and at the same time leave room for the viewer's imagination by visualizing the music.
The libretto was written by the lyricist, playwright and screenwriter Tomáš Belko. In Hybernia, in the English version, you will hear Hollywood star Agent 007 Pierce Brosnan in the role of narrator, whose voice is accompanied by the voices of other famous stars. Actor Jiří Dvořák lent a captivating voice in Czech, and other roles were played by Pavla Tomicová, Petr Štěpánek, Vilma Cibulková and Monika Timková. Foreign guests will be able to listen to the English version using the Cinewav application, which can synchronize spoken word with live music production. The project was newly adapted for the Hybernia Theater under the direction of Michal Dvořák, co-author, producer and, among other things, a member of the LUCIE group.
In the new version of VIVALDIANNO THE SHOW, which will premiere on March 31, 2023, the participation of exceptional soloists is confirmed. Let's name at least the main stars: violin virtuoso Jiří Vodička, concert master of the Czech Philharmonic, multi-genre cellist Terezie Kovalová and violinist Martina Bačová. With a magical blend of string quartet, electric and acoustic guitars, samplers and synthesizers, percussion, ethnic musical instruments and sound effects, the show has a strong art-rock atmosphere. With its concept, this 3D concert show blurs the differences between cultures and creates a "show without borders" that appeals to both Czech and foreign audiences of all generations.
