St. Johnny Trio is the only band in Czech Republic playing 1950's jump blues.
The origin of the band comes from St. Johnny's travels in the U.S., where he fell in love with the blues. Swing-blues guitar, St. Johnny´s raw tember and vintage tube amplifiers guarantee authentic sound of the band.
The repertoire is a mix of good old blues staples and the band's original work. The band has opened for a blues greats such as Lurrie Bell, Charlie Musellwhite, Paul Lamb, Gwyn Ashton, Ana Popovic and others; in addition they have gone on tours with great American country singer Brent Moyer as his back-up band. You can see the band on countless club stages and festivals in Bohemia and Europe. St. Johnny tightly cooperates with excellent harmonica player Charlie Slavik.
