Osian Roberts Trio - arranged jazz standards

Osian Roberts along with bass player Tomáš Baroš and drummer Marek Urbánek plays a mixture of original music and new arrangements of classic jazz standards by the likes of Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, and Billy Stayhorn.

Born in Cardiff, Wales, Osian Roberts took up the saxophone aged nine, and has been pursuing a career as a jazz musician ever since.

He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and after graduating in 1998, performed with many of the UK's foremost musicians, including Sir John Dankworth, Iain Ballamy, Jim Mullen, Mike Carr, and Peter Ind.

The boat trip with the jazz concert lasts 2,5 hours.
From April to October: Boarding time is at 8:00 PM, departure at 8:30 PM, arrival at 11:00 PM
From November to March: Boarding time is at 7:00 PM, departure at 7:30 PM, arrival at 10:00 PM
The seats are allocated by the promoter once you get to the board of Jazz Boat. Some tables are shared with other visitors.
The dinner on the board is available a la carte served to your table while listening to great jazz tunes.

Absolutely recommend to all who want to enjoy the best jazz, great and tasty food and service and absolutely fantastic views of Prague. You really see Prague from different perspective. Loved the intimate atmosphere and feeling like you are in a jazz club, "just" on the river...
