Musica Florea & Martina Jankova performing St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas, patron of children, merchandisers, sailors and even chemists has become one of the most popular saints ever. he brings presents to children, he is merciful, protective and comforting to the adults. We can find many churches and temples around Europe carrying his name. It is therefore interesting that the only piece of music created on St. Nicholas's part of life is by a Baroque composer Bononcini - one of his most acclaimed works.
