Jazz standards, original arrangements of famous compositions and own compositions of a graduate student of Prague Conservatory

Coming from Slovakia, Lucia Bakaiová spent her early years singing mostly traditional Slovak music. Step by step she explored other music genres and fell in love with pop music, gypsy swing, funky grooves and all sorts of music styles. Later, she was accepted at the prestigious VOŠ KJJ jazz department in Prague, where she had the honour to study jazz singing in a company of great musicians and mentors.

Her graduating concert will be divided in two parts. The first half she will perform more intimate line-up with the small combo, followed by the greatest arrangements of famous jazz standards in the second half, accompanied by the VOŠ KJJ Big Band conducted by Milan Svoboda.
