Great English guitarist, singer and songwriter Justin Lavash
A unique concert at Jazz Dock sees British blues/folk guitarist and singer Justin Lavash teaming up to play a selection of his songs with Czech drummer extraordinaire David Landštof. Lavash is a highly respected fingerstyle guitarist with a soulful voice and powerful songs. He has developed a sound and approach that is all his own and has worked with many of the Czech Republic’s best-loved artists, including Lenka Dusilová, Radůza, Beata Hlavenková, and Moimir Papalescu among others. His latest album Witness was released in March this year.
David Landštof (1983) is a renowned session drummer who has played with Lenka Dusilová, Radůza, Xindl X, Aneta Langerová, Ivan Hlas, Druhá Tráva, Michal Hrůza, Vladimír Merta, among others. He currently performs with the group Slza, Václav Koubek, James Harries and more. In 2014, he founded the domestic label Tranzistor, which has so far focused mainly on the independent music scene. In 2020, he bought the Podještěd where he organizes cultural, educational and neighborhood events.
