Come and join a small group of courious people who are searching for the wider picture of Prague. You will be lead by a Brittish expat who's been living in Prague for 20 years.
He will give you many pieces to compose the colourful mosaic in your mind. He is going to guide you through many streets and places that people overlook, but he will also show you all the major sights within the area.
Learn a lot about the history of the Old Town and Jewish Quarter, listen to the tales about some interesting spots and hear the true story!

You are going to explore:

The Old Town Square - the surrounding architecture, the changes over the years and events that have happened here. Faith or Fact, things from the Old Town that made the Velvet Revolution both possible and peaceful.
Franz Kafka - a literary giant now but not always. Learn about his short but fascinating history and his unintended legacy.
The Jewish Quarter - what still exists, what it used to be like and the stories of triumph and sacrifice.
The Old Jewish Cemetery - see inside and learn the real reason why it closed.
Czech and Bohemian heroes, where and why they fell. King Josef the second and his impact. Jan Hus, a priest burned at the stake but not a Saint, learn why not.
Meet the Czechs that you didn't realise that you already knew. The meanings of the street names and why they've changed several times.
Enjoy the Cubist, Art Deco and Art Nouveau architecture of the area and learn why it's so widespread in the city.
Walk the "narrowest" streets in the city. Learn about the gory details of revolution, the winner takes it all.
Don´t miss the opportunity to attend classical music concert in Spanish Synagogue - one of the most beautiful concert place in Prague. Famous are chamber concerts of Czech Collegium.
