Josef Suk Piano Quartet

The quartet is named after the violinist Josef Suk (1929-2011), the great-grandson of Antonín Dvořák. The ensemble was founded in 2007 originally as a piano trio, since 2012 has become a piano quartet.

The quartet has received many awards and successes at home and abroad. The members say: "The piano quartet is an ideal formation for us. It offers a number of possibilities and activities for the lover of chamber music. It has the potential of various chamber groups from the duo through the string or piano trio to the quartet. The piano quartet can replace the whole orchestra."
