Martin Šanda founded the ensemble in 2002. Since then, the orchestra has achieved countless successes, such as several European tours with rock legends from Deep Purple, Nazareth, Europe, Toto, Survivor, Foreigner, Journey, Uriah Heep, stars like Alice Cooper, or Bonnie Tyler and others. He can also boast of collaborating on projects with the Swedish band Sabaton, the British band Kosheen, 2Cellos, the famous Spanish opera singer José Carreras or the vocal group The Tenors. The list of star names that had to do with the Prague orchestra is really extensive. Also worth mentioning are violinist Vanessa Mae, singer Sarah Brightman and three-time Grammy Award winner Michael Bublé.
The orchestra has also given a number of classical concerts throughout Europe, but has also toured Japan and China. On the Czech scene, BSOP presents, among other things, a number of subscription concerts at the Municipal House in Prague.
