Burt Bacharach’s music has kept us company for half a century, and few among us would not smile and turn up the volume upon hearing the first tones of his compositions.
His hits were sung by the greatest American singers of the Seventies, including Dionne Warwick and Tom Jones. His Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head was part of the unforgettable Western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969).
