History of The Brewery U Fleku

The beer tours take place in one of the oldest and best known Prague breweries. One of them is U Fleku, which was founded in 1499 and has been brewing beer continuously ever since. In 1843, U Fleku started cooking their 13% Flek dark lager which you can taste during the beer tour. The house where brewery and restaurant are located has preserved many of its historic features from the time of its creation. The restaurant consists of 8 rooms, each of them has its own specific characteristics and history. Kabaret weekly hosts The Show U Fleku. It has the largest capacity and its walls are decorated with paintings of Czech castles and chateaux. In the last century, the most popular Czech cabaret, called Cabaret U Fleku, used to be performed there.
