Enjoy great opera arias by W. A. Mozart and J. Mysliveček rendered by renowned soloist and orchestra

When young W. A. Mozart was trying to gain recognition in Italian opera houses, Josef Mysliveček was the celebrated star of Italian opera seria. Mozart had high regard for the works of the Czech master and their friendship lasted even when Mysliveček’s career started to fail. At that time, little did Mozart know that he would one day enjoy his greatest triumphs not in Italy, but in Prague — the home of Josef Mysliveček whom he considered his compatriot.
