Listen to organ music in the church of St.Nicholas in Prague, it can be a spiritual experience.

Adagio means, that music is to be played slowly.Organ concerts of classical music in Prague, in the church of St.Nicholas are unique. For a short moment will take you to the peaceful world of classical music.

Frantisek Stastny - Organ 

František Šťastný has studied the organ at Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Music under the guidance of Prof. Jan Hora and Prof. Jaroslav Vodrážka. In 1990, he participated in the Summer Master Academy in Lübeck, two years later the International Master Courses in Cheb. 1995 – 1998, he was a scholar of Dresdner Akademie für Alte Musik, where he studied the cembalo under the guidance of doc. John Toll. Nowadays, he is a solo-player and a player of continuo in the prominent Czech orchestras (Prague Chamber Philharmonic, Prague Chamber Orchestra) and chamber ensembles (Concerto Praha, Musica Florea). He regularly participates in classical music concerts in Prague, in the Czech Republic as well as abroad.

 

Due to technical issues we are going to perform the concerts on the positive organ under the dome where also the whole music production will take place. Therefore we would like to sincerely invite you to the Concerts under the dome!

For concert visitors is St. Nicholas church open 15 minutes before the concert.
Please note there is no intermission.

Price tickets online is the same as the price of tickets in the church.
