Enchanting music for classical guitar, played by the renowned soloist Milada Karez

Listen to great music for classical guitar, played by renowned soloist Milada Karez and let the guitar guide you through different styles and times from Renaissance to the present!
You will hear transcriptions of renaissance lute, baroque music, music of Beethoven´s contemporary Fernando Sor and famous Asturias by Isaac Albeniz. The entire concert is also interspersed with a temperamental Spanish dances. Also the famous ragtime by Scott Joplin is going to be performed.

John Dowland (1563-1626): Melancholy Galiard and Allemand
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): Preludium D major
Fernando Sor (1778-1839): Variations on the Malbourgh Goes to the Battle
Francisco Tarrega (1852-1909): Capricho Arabe
Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909): Asturias
Six Czech Folksongs
Scott Joplin (1867-1917): Entertainer
George Gershwin (1898-1937): I got Rhythm
Spanish Traditionals: Malaguena, Jaleo, Tarantos

Soloist:

Milada Karez - guitar

Milada Karez belongs to the most significant Czech guitarists. After graduating from the Conservatory in Pilsen she further studied with prof. Arnost Sadlik. She participated in master classes led by Ichiro Suzuki, Robert Aussela, David Russell. In addition to concerts in the Czech Republic and thoughout Europe, Milada Karez devotes herself to teaching in the Czech Republic and Germany. In addition to concerts in the Czech Republic and throughout Europe, Milada 
Karez devotes her life to teaching guitar in the Czech Republic and Germany and is also very active publisher. She produced and published a lot of CDs  as a soloist as well as in cooperation with other musicians. She also wrote several musical textbooks and other educational materials within her own small publishing house.
