Daniel Bulatkin Quartet

Daniel Bulatkin (20) is the youngest professional jazz musician on the Czech scene. He has already collaborated with greats the likes of Ulf Wakenius, Gary Husband, Gergo Borlai, Justin Faulkner and Tineke Postma.

At the moment, his band focuses mainly on original music of all its members, which reflects both respect to jazz tradition, and interest in a wide spectrum of other musical genres (African and Latin-American rhythms, classical and cinematic music...).

The quartet currently tours in a new line-up, which connects a young rhythm section and experienced Dutch saxophonist Cyrille Oswald. Their current repertoire is the programme from their upcoming album "Drifter Days", which they recorded after a successful tour with British sax phenom Tom Smith.

First rate local and international jazz musicians, unique atmosphere of a 14th century vault, friendly prices for drinks, including original AghaRTA drinks as well as Pilsner Urquell tap beer. Agharta definitely is one of the best places of Prague jazz concerts scene!

Performing:

Daniel Bulatkin - piano & fender rhodes
Cyrille Oswald - saxophone
Mx Mkagonov - double bass
Petr Nohavice - drums

Important:

  • Two 15 minutes intermissions

Pop in the Agharta Jazz Centre for a perfect jazz night out!
