The Grand Hotel Praha is located in a complex of medieval houses from the 14th century with Baroque design. These were once citizen houses "The Golden Crown" and "The Golden Horse".
The houses are historically protected and their interiors have been carefully adapted to the needs of the hotel. You can admire sensitively restored original wooden ceilings and murals complemented with antique furniture, luxury cafe and restaurants.
Very pleasant evening listening to easy jazz - pianist/singer and saxophonist whilst eating a very enjoyable meal in a comfortable and intimate setting directly opposite the astronomical clock.
Excellent musicians, each of them very talented and dancer added to the beautiful performance. The musical director took time to acknowledge the countries of the participants and included and activity to encourage interaction with the audience
We three friends attending the jazz evening at Café Mozart and we enjoyed it immensely.
The atmosphere was intimate yet fun with a wonderful selection of jazz standards sung by a lovely lady accompanied by wonderful saxophonist. The food was delicious and our table had a view of the Astronomical Clock. We would happily recommend.
