The concert is lovely. But there should not be any sort of recording. It is very distracting. Hope the organise enforce this.

They did not play the whole program. We listened in the basement of the building. This was not worth the price of the ticket.

The walking tour, concert & dinner with Martin was very enjoyable. The walking tour was a nice, brief introduction to Prague's Old Town, the concert was a nice selection of classical favorites, well performed, and the dinner was very good. We also enjoyed the pre-concert beer at U Kunstatu. Martin was knowledgeable and very easy to chat with.

Being able to attend a performance of Libuse at the National Theatre in Prague was an experience I will not soon forget.

The venue and performers are excellent. The acoustics and chapel's adornments are also excellent. The only problem is the guests. Many are very rude and have their cell phone cameras out, many times over their heads which gratly detracts from the performance. One woman had her camera extended for the entire performance. I would suggest the use of NO CELL PHONES during the performance and enforce it by once admonishing the guest for 1st time use and expulsion for a 2nd time!

Skvěle vybrané skladby, vynikající výkon umělců, bohužel neuvedena jejich jména v prospektu, což považuji nejen za neobvyklé , ale pro umělce podávající takový výkon velmi nedůstojné, mohl je aspoň někdo představit. Rozumím tomu tak, že šetříte na výrobě letáku i na lidech, škoda, vstupné není zrovna levné.

The Parnas Ensemble is excellent and has very good energy as a performance group. This venue felt a lot like a church basement with not great sight lines and it was very hot. But the acoustics were excellent.

Hello, The performance was not very professional, you could get a sense that the main characters were very distant from each other and some of the other characters had an amateur skill set. I took my 2 teenage daughters to see this and honestly expected something more professional. I don't think I was the only person in the room to think this. For the cost of the tickets, I don't feel it was worth the money.

Wonderful singer with great side musicians, especially guitarist. Good line-up of songs that kept coming one after the other. Lots of energy on stage. Elena knows her stuff. Venue could stand a face-lift; definitely time for a Rennovations. Bench seats were really hard. Distracts from the performance.

Martin Muzik is an exceptional guide. To be a tour guide is not to be a person who repeats what is engraved in his memory with anyone he serves. A guide of excellence connects with his passengers, empathizes with them, makes them feel the center of all his attention and makes them have a truly unforgettable experience by appealing to the emotions created that will be the indelible memories of the visit. In this case, Prague (thanks to Martin), exceeded our expectations and became one of our favorite trips. The tour was a surprise for my wife's 40th birthday, and as a product I can say that it is of the highest quality. We will recommend it to all our friends and family in Switzerland.

This was our second visit to Prague and on both visits we attended an opera at the Prague State Opera. Every aspect of the performance of La Traviata was captivating! Booking online was convenient and easy and although the house sold out we were still able to obtain seats a few days before the performance. The tickets are inexpensive and within anyone's budget, the acoustics are wonderful, and the venue is small giving the entire house an intimate musical experience. We would never miss the experience if we were in Prague and would attend whatever was being performed!

Excellent modern reinterpretation of the classic. Wonderful technique/skill. The casting excellent esp enjoyed the Fairy by Romina Contreras and the Stepmother by Evgenia Victory Gonzalez. Each major role was very different. Loved that Cinderella danced entirely barefoot. Slightly lost its way in Scene 4.

The orchestra and choir transported me to another world, truly an unforgettable experience.

This was an outstanding concert. The pianist was not only fascinating to listen to but to watch too, her total immersion in the music was transmitted to all in the audience. I loved the way that she acknowledged the children in the audience, it was a magical hour, well worth a visit. I discovered a few days after the matinee that ticket included entrance to the Museum plus an audio guide!

Personally, i did not enjoy the pieces that they played, except for the last ones. The pieces have been overused in my point of view. The very good musicians makes this a 'very good' review. There were two very playful and funny performances, wich i enjoyed.

Food not tasty ,pork dried, salmon dried and smelled as defrosted fish quickly , chicken was boiled and after grilled ( dried) .Only deserts were average. A painfully mundane and uninspired production in the stage design of a school club which sometimes makes you smile involuntarily. Good orchestra, good artists. Now someone who can stage an opera and does not rush for cheap effects (I only say: solo entertainer with Western melody to lighten things up) would do the trick.

Avis en 2 temps. Tout d'abord les artistes, le concert, fabuleux, vraiment rien à redire, équipe soudée dans la musique qui partage son amour avec le public. La cantatrice fait vibrer de l'intérieur, l'organiste et l'orchestre sont fabuleux, vraiment ! Merci. Mais, ce plaisir est gâché en partie par les gens qui valent devant vous avec des GSM. Nous étions en première ligne de la catégorie B, plusieurs personnes de catégorie B et C se sont glissées dans la catégorie A au début du spectacle et ça a virevolté en permanence devant nous au dessus de notre champ de vision nous n'avions que des écrans de GSM et ne voyons plus rien. C'est chouette de pouvoir enregistrer, filmer mais ce serait peut-être bien de prévoir un meilleur cadrage à savoir permettre l'enregistrement du 1er et dernier morceau pour éviter les frustrations. Les gens à côté de nous avaient leur concert gâché, ils étaient constamment à tapoter sur les épaules des gens pour espérer voir quelque chose. Sinon, superbe, 👍

The music selection was great. The players did their jobs very well. However, one of the violins had serious issues. It sounded like a string or the instrument was physically damaged. Overall I enjoyed the experience, but this violin issue was sometimes very noticeable.

This was a highlight of our visit to Prague. To hear this iconic cycle of pieces (Smetana Ma Vlast) in the beautiful Smetana Hall played by the Prague Symphony Orchestra was a privilege. The orchestra and conductor knew this music intimately and their playing spoke richly of their love for their lands.

The music and performance was so good it emotionally bought tears to our eyes. Bravo to each and every artist who thrilled us with their superlative performance. An experience we will be sure to repeat on our return to Prague.

Outstanding performance! Unfortunately, Marie Solozobova was dealing with a sudden and serious illness and was unable to perform. In her place was Czech violinist Jiri Vodicka, soloist, chamber player, and concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic. He was incredible and I would love to hear him solo again! The entire performance was wonderful and a high point of our first visit to Prague. I hope we can return to Prague from the US in the future.

We enjoyed a truly lovely performance with many favorite pieces. The musicians were all outstanding and the venue was beautiful. It made for a great Prague memory!

A lovely couple of hours of gentle jazz music and song with three very accomplished musicians. They played a nice mix of songs from different styles and eras, you dont need to be a jazz enthusiast to enjoy it.

Easily one of the strangest productions of any opera that I have ever seen before in my life. Amount of visual pollution in the production was beyond words. With every single performance being upstaged by scenery, background movement, and extras drawing attention away from what the audience should be paying attention to. I would avoid this opera at all cost. As a season subscriber, I am even more disappointed if I didn't support this company and this venue, I would have asked for a refund.

The concert was exceptional. We bought and had front row seats, and were able to see the 4 performers, the soprano and very briefly the lady who played and was hiding behind the big organ. Everyone was very talented and played several pieces beautifully. The soprano was exquisite in every way. Each of them were superb artists, the violin control was exceptional.

My first opera and it was fantastic! I am a fan of musicals and this was equally entertaining. The duets were giving me goosebumps.

Highly recommend this, the jazz band was amazing and even played a song we requested. The food was good and the portions were generous and the staff were friendly and attentive. The drinks are not included in the ticket price but were reasonably priced as well. It is quite a small boat so it had a nice intimate feel which lead to a lot of interesting conversations with the fellow passengers. Highly recommend this!

The theater was beautiful and the ballet was excellent. The view from one seat in our box was obstructed but we noticed some empty seats in the orchestra during the first intermission and we moved into those seats without a problem.

We loved our night at the opera! The performance of La Traviata was first-rate and the opera house itself is gorgeous. Many of the spectators were formally dressed, adding to the elegant atmosphere. As a group of five, we had our own box with an excellent view of both the stage and the orchestra. Don't miss it!

This is a most beautiful theatre, it’s a special event to visit it. The cast and production were superlative. The orchestra is disadvantaged by the shape of the pit, the upper strings are not heard as they should be. The overture would have benefited from more control of the phrasing, dynamics and internal balance.

This is a beautiful theatre. The orchestra was superb, balanced, elegant, clean and deeply musical. The cast was excellent but I thought the production was needlessly vulgar, diminishing the dignity of the Countess in particular.

This program was a challenging one, combining soprano, trumpet and organ. In the pieces for organ and for trumpet with organ, the playing was convincing and enjoyable. In the pieces for soprano and organ, the accompaniment occasionally drowned out the soloist, and in the pieces with all three performers, the soprano was completely overwhelmed. It's extremely difficult to balance such performers in a live setting, and that balance was not achieved -- perhaps not achievable -- here. I give the soprano high marks for trying, but she had no chance against an un-muted trumpet combined with the organ. Were it not for this unfortunate choice of programming, my rating would be "very good".

A nicely varied program. The musicians interacted well, with the organist being especially sensitive when accompanying the soprano. The soprano seemed a bit detached: while her singing was appealing, she delivered the arias with an emotionless countenance. The solo organ pieces and string ensemble pieces were convincingly played.

Výborné provedení - jak sborem, tak orchestrem - skladeb pravděpodobně málo známých (kromě Rachmaninova), dokonalý zvuk sboru. Zajímavé a příjemné prostředí méně známého pražského interiéru. Velká spokojenost, rozhodně jsme nelitovali 140km cesty na koncert. Velké díky dirigentovi, sboru i orchestru, a také pořadatelům festivalu!

While visiting Prague for 4 days we attending 2 concerts. One was jazz at a club and one was classical in a church. Both were fantastic. Love how accessible, high quality the performers were, and affordable. . What a beautiful way to introduce Prague to visitors to your beautiful city.

On the whole this was a very good production. We particularly liked the young Italian tenor in the role of Alfredo. Some bits I didn’t get: why were all the guests in the opening party scene dressed in black and only Violetta wearing white? Why were the gypsy dancers in the later party scene substituted for ‘ladies of the night’ wearing skimpy, very revealing outfits? In the last scene Violetta is usually depicted dying in bed but we see her sleeping on the floor, with the only other piece of furniture being a chair. Small changes but they didn’t add anything, so why?

Wonderful music, beautiful hall, nice audience. The only problem is that we found ourselves sitting in an obstructed pair of seats. And I had no idea that they were obstructed whe I purchased the tickets months again. Oh well- my ears were working just fine.

This was an excellent production with very good leading voices, especially in Cavalleria Rusticana. The chorus was also very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the projection of black and white film on to the curtains at the interval which added to the storylines. I’ve never seen this done before in any opera house. It’s a novel approach.

Nebyl to koncert orchestru, ale pouze "několika" muzikantů v jiném, než běžném, prostředí. To bylo dopředu jasné. V půli koncertu jsem musel požádat rodiče s malými dětmi, aby z kostela raději odešli. Seděli za námi a děti se hlasitě nudily. Odešli. Umožnit přístup malým dětem, které z toho nemohou mít ani to minimum, je nesmysl. Stát frontu na ulici mezi davy proudícími na Karlův most je komické. Další návštěva je nepravděpodobná.

It was a magical concert. There are no proper words to describe it. The voices of these men and women took me to another dimension. Beautiful, powerful, ethereal...

The orchestra played well, but the conductor did not pay enough attention to the balance between the orchestra and the flute & violin soloists in the first half.

We booked box seats. We were put in a box with 5 people barely big enough for all of us to fit in. The theater was very hot. We ended up leaving before the first intermission. Very, very, disappointing.

Very good performance that was thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent performance with a great repertoire.

We heard a varied programme of well known pieces with a small group of musicians and two opera singers. The standard of the performers was very good. We particularly enjoyed the Vivaldi Four Seasons. No introductions were made of each piece which we think would have improved the proceedings. Instead printed programmes were handed out as you went into the hall.

We really enjoyed this performance of Romeo & Juliet. The orchestra and the dancers were first class: as good as any we’ve seen before. The State Opera building is smaller than some we’ve visited but it’s very ornate and plush inside, covered in gilt with frescos on the ceiling. We sat on the 2nd row in the stalls: a bit expensive but the view was wonderful. People in the audience had dressed up for the occasion so jeans and T-shirts would look out of place!

This was a really beautiful concert. It was extremely well organised and great value for money, in my opinion. It was an inspiring and uplifting way to start our final evening in Prague.

Some musicians were outstanding, others a bit less.

Watching the artists perform was as entertaining as listening to their music. It was obvious they loved making music.

Very informative and insightful! Highly recommended tour, which was done by a local, who had the best tips in town.

Koncert byl moc hezký, co se mi nelíbilo, byla organizace vstupenek. Vstupenky jsem měla vytisklé z internetu, ale před vchodem na koncert mi blyo sděleno pořadatelem (asi cizinec, neuměl česky, naštěstí umím anglicky), že si mám vytisklou vstupenku vyměnit za papírovou. Zejména pro cizince to byl zmatek a zdržení, nepochopitelné v dnešní době, kdy papírové vstupenky už skoro nejsou potřeba. Dostali jsme vstupneku bez označení sedadla, následně jsme na koncert byli usazeni na skládací židle. Argumentovala jsem, že na původní vstupence je napsáno, že místa si v daném sektoru můžeme rezervovat stylem kdo dřív přijde, ten dřív mele. Bylo mi sděleno, že to tak není. Nicnéně nakonec to pán vyřešil měli jsme vlastně ve výsledku lepší místa než jsme měli mít, ale příště bych si toto raději ušetřila, jasné označení sedadel už na vstupence a zrušení nutnosti mít další vstupenku na pokladně přímo v kostele by bylo fajn.

Excellent performance

Très bel endroit et très acoustique. Les musiciens et là soprano mous ont enchantées. Nous avons préféré la partie classique néanmoins, les musiques Gershwin et autres modernes, ainsi que les chants juifs ont été très bien interprétés.

Rahvalaulude, -tantsude ja pillimänguga õhtusöök oli väga hoogne ja lõbus. Kõik oli suurepäraselt korraldatud, alates toidu (kodune) ja joogi serveerimisest kuni programmini välja.

Les musiciens au top, une superbe salle, le son était équilibré, de la technique, un très bon moment, allez-y !

Great performance by all the cast

Ma 10e « Flûte «  ! La première - en 1957 ! J’ai adoré et j’ai été bouleversée par l’excellent Mozart - acteur shakespearien qui arrache les larmes d’émotions!!’ Bravo à lui ! Il remet en place le condescendant Forman dans son Amadeus ! Et évidemment à tous - musiciens et chanteurs. Bravo !

We learned a lot about Praha and its history. Our guide was an enthusiastic teller of facts and stories. He was kind (like we seem to experience from almost all the people in Prague), shared our music taste and showed kind humor. The musical performance was a selection of baroque and romantic highlights, and the musicians and the singer were marvelous! Finally, the visit to the local restaurant was preceeded with a walk - and more information - along the Moldau. The food was fine, and our guide knows how it's prepared, since he does the cooking at home. With love we understand from his talking about the food. So all 5 stars for the whole event.

Spectacle très, trop "mécanique" " operatoire" avec une playlist, un business bien rodé. La moindre des choses ,quand on interprète d' aussi grands musiciens, est de se présenter car ce n est qu une interprétation..sinon c est du vol. cela se veut être intime mais on n a même pas entendu le son de leur voix. Personnellement, cela ne m a pas laissé une trace.. Un spectacle au théâtre de prague avec un orchestre est 1000x mieux.

Premier opéra pour nous avec un excellent tarif mais placés très haut. Notre connaissance préalable nous a permis de suivre le texte en français ou à contrario en anglais. Aucune vérification de la tenue vestimentaire. Il y avait beaucoup de baskets !

Dobrý den. Byli jsme nadšeni. Nádherná atmosfera, pro mě měla basilika sv Jakuba zvláštní kouzlo, protože jsem se zde 27.června 1959 vdávala.Hudba majestání. Prostě úžasné.

Really enjoyed the performance. Lots of strong voices and stage presence. Loved the sets and the imagery overlays. Performers playing the Countess and Barbarina we're particularly good. Found myself rivited to the performance.

Great variety of music including some favourites from Dvorak and Smetana to Gershwin and Bernstein. Strings, brass and singing were great. I had booked on the internet but I didnt see a programme that mentioned each piece. One piece involed just cello and double-bass. It was interesting, but I dont know what it was.

This was an excellent and very entertaining interpretation of the opera. Of course the music is magical, but the voices were also excellent - bravo Figaro! and so was the acting - it was a great production and a great cast. I loved the set, particularly the garden, and the housing estate. The orchestra was wonderful, and the non-orchestra music between the scenes was a great addition.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The production was very good and I really enjoyed it. The dancers were super fit and gave it their best. Well done I will be back again.

This was an excellent production, a minimalist more modern setting, but very well done. Beautiful singing by all the main voices. A highlight of my visit here in Prague!

Bonjour, Nous avons trouver le concert des 3 artistes plutôt amateur. Quelques fausses notes se glissaient parfois et la coordination n’étais pas toujours là. Nous avons trouver cela vraiment dommage :(

Fabuleux concert !

Mně i manželovi se líbil výběr skladeb, proto jsme si zakoupili vstupenky. Provedení všech skladeb nás nadchlo. Byli jsme poprvé na takovém koncertu v kostele v Praze . V Kolíně chodíme celkem pravidelně. Chceme navštívit další koncerty v tomto kostele.

Varhanní festival-rakouský večer. Hodnotím 6 z 10. Podle mě výběr hudby nevyvážený, velice nesourodé skladby. Sedět v kostele těch 80 min bylo utrpení. Ty dřevěné lavice kde se vám ozdobný rám zarývá do zad a lavice tlačí… To si hudbu nevychutnáte…to bych radši celou dobu stál. Na závěr koncertu jsem si stoupl a chtěl si prohlédnout oltář a nějaká baba na mě syčela abych si sedl… Bohužel ten krásný, starobylý zvuk varhan si už mnoho neužijeme…oprava má stát 50 000000. Tak si nachystejme portmonku.

Nous avons été très déçues par la qualité du spectacle et du décor. Le niveau n'est pas à la hauteur de celui des ballets que nous avons l'habitude de voir en France. De plus, la version condensée rend l'histoire difficilement compréhensible.

Great atmosphere in the Spanish synagogue. The concert was nice--not great, but certainly enjoyable. One of the musicians seemed to play with a bit more personality and energy than the others, which made it more enjoyable.

obrovský zážitek. Přispěl k tomu videopřenos. Jinak bychom neměli ani tušení, co vše hra na varhany obnáší. Skvělé!!!

Užasný relax

Skvělé komorné prostředí, úžasné výkony všech vystupujících a bezproblémový průběh aktivity od platby po realizaci. Doporučuji, s manželkou jsme si návštěvu moc užili.

Pěkný zážitek

Celkově krásný zážitek, pouze jediný komentář - zahrané skladby nebyly dle programu. Vynechaná jedna skladba, na kterou se můj syn zrovna těšil a nahrazena něčím neurčitým. To bylo trochu zklamání. Program byl měl odpovídat tomu, co se zahraje.

Trubka pod chrámovou klenbou. Úžasný zážitek, spojení trubky a varhan je naprosto úchvatné a oba interpreti navíc podali velice pěkný a soustředěný výkon.

Na organové koncerty chodím rád

The show was barbaric. Great musicians. We really enjoyed the show. The place is good and has a good atmosphere. The only bad thing about the place is that there was a lack of ventilation, it was very hot and so hot that my husband felt bad. It is what in my view would improve. put air conditioning! For the rest all 10 points

Le lieu est magique et l'accord était parfait avec la musique, la soliste a été ovationnée ainsi que les musiciens. Le choix varié des musiques était ambitieux mais parfaitement exécuté.

The band was amazing!

Tereza and other musicians were excellent. The venue was very intimate. The only negative was the seats were not very comfortable after awhile and air conditioning was not sufficient to keep it comfortable. The room was rather warm and muggy.

Brilliant performance. Very well paced and performed. 5 star concert.

Concert was good, but we booked seats row 4-7 and got there 15mins before start and although there were free seats in those rows, someone had written name tags such that none were available. Those people didn't show up but we had already found a less comfortable seat a few rows farther back. Advice - get there really early, or disregard the name tags.

Úžasný koncert. Cena pro dospělého odpovídající. Mrzí mě, že se asi nepočítá s návštěvou dětí. Cena stejná jako za dospělého je odrazující. Škoda, naučily by se chodit na koncerty i další děti, ne jen můj nadaný pětiletý vnuk, který ani nehlesl nadšením.

Excellent artists, especially the singer.

Concert quasiment privé, nous étions 3 à 14h. Accueil chaleureux et notre hôte très prévenant. Uniquement quelques toiles en exposition. Vins délicieux, charcuteries et fromages très appréciés. Être aussi près des musiciennes est rare. C'était notre 1er concert de musique classique et nous avons beaucoup aimé.

The music and location are beautiful. It would be wonderful if we could actually see the performers perform, even if on a video screen.

Na varhanním koncertu jsem byla poprvé. Bylo to hezké, zajímavé. Možná jsme trocha tápali, kdy tleskat u kratších skladeb. Určitě příště půjdu znova. A jedna hezká příhoda. Přisedla jsem si k mamince s dvěma dětma. Byla to mezinárodní rodina. Holčička se nemohla dočkat hraní a zpívání. Po cca deseti minutách usnula a spala celý koncert. Klučina vydržel asi půlku koncertů a pak šel za tatínkem a taky usnul. On jediný byl připraven tleskat po každé skladbě. Děti cca 5 a 2 roky. Takže i malé děti můžou zvládnout cokoliv, ale musejí mít správnou výchovu. Ráda bych se zeptala, jak je to s místami na sezení. Vstupenek se prodává víc, nebo vše k sezení. Děkuji

Příjemný večer se skvělou muzikou a vynikajícím jídlem v krásném prostředí

Celkový dojem z večera byl skvělý. Jedna z mala umeleckych produkci, kde vysoka cena opravdu odpovida kvalite. Hudební čísla úžasná, zpěvačky i hudebníci předvedli skvostný výkon. Líbilo se mi mimo jiné jejich nadšení, které pak předávali dal na diváky. Večer byl take dobře poskládany co do délky představení a přestávek na jídlo. Občerstvení- kvalitni, velmi chutne i pekne naservirovane, ale musím říct, že složení menu mě zklamalo. Byt privitana mezi dveřmi u takového eventu informací, že hlavním chodem je řízek, mě překvapilo nemile. Myslím, že řízek a buchticky se sodo jsou na pozdní večerní hodiny těžké jídlo, navíc mi to k jazzovému večeru neladilo. To je ale jediná vítka k jinak perfektním večeru, který jsme si s manželem velmi užili a určitě to nebyla naše poslední návštěva.

The venue was stunning. Orchestra did a wonderful job. The youngest ballerina was precious.

Představení jsme si užili po všech stránkách. Nádherné prostředí, výborná kvalita zvuku a hlavně krásné skladby velmi dobře zpracované všemi účinkujícími. Odcházeli jsme s pocitem uspokojení, klidu a inspirace.

The Jazz evening was a fine event! The Band was great, but it wasn't a Tribute to Louis Armstrong. Instead of Louis Armstrong they played a lot of other jazz standards. The technichian had a bad evening, because he disturbed a wonderful Sax melody by playing another audio music. We enjoyed this concert in this wonderful atmosphere of Reduta Jazz club. Thanks!

Nádherný prostor a vynikající varhanistka ze Slovenska. Repertoár byl velmi hezký a přizpůsobený prostředí, ve kterém se koncert odehrával. Zvolené skladby byly technicky náročné a bravurně zvládnuté ze strany varhanistky. Pokud sedíte na koncertě a do toho zapadá slunce a vše se odehrává v katedrále, kde hraje varhanní hudba, nic hezčího už Vás potkat nemůže.

Krásný koncert, rozhodně bych ho doporučila. Pro mě hudba znamená levitaci, kdy s prvním tónem odlétám. Zapomenu na bolest fyzickou a hlavně i psychickou. Je mi 74 let a jsem vdova. Bylo to krásné pohlazení. Děkuji moc. .

Acoustic could be better….

Wonderful musicians, thoughtfully created program (classical pop music / short pieces selections easy for even least prepared audience). I thought it was a great event for a concert targeted for tourists. Two young people in my company were new to live classical music, and they enjoyed the event, too, and will probably want to discover / listen to more classical music thanks to this live music event.

I have been to a few concerts in Prague and they were fine, but this one is at an entirely different level. Outstanding musicians and soprano. They all worked together really well. Highly recommended.
