The world renowned Dvořák Prague International Music Festival in Prague promotes the good name of Czech culture via the legacy of the works of Antonín Dvořák, his contemporaries, and his pupils. The classical music festival hosts top Czech & foreign orchestras and soloists performing in the most beautiful concert venues in Prague. The series. This year the Dvořák Prague Festival presents the cantata The Spectre’s Bride and the oratorio Saint Ludmila. There will be also a performance of an almost totally unfamiliar arrangement of Dvořák’s Lužany Mass.

Dvořákova Praha - World Class Orchestras in Rudolfinum

The Staatskapelle Dresden is returning to the Dvořák Prague Festival with the conductor Manfred Honeck and the mezzo-soprano Bernarda Fink in Dvořák’s Biblical Songs. The Camerata Salzburg with the violinist Janine Jansen will play the Serenade by Leonard Bernstein. Chamber series of classical music by the Israeli clarinettist Sharon Kam will put her heart and soul into the Chamber Series. She is one of the world’s most sought-after clarinettists, and she has prepared five chamber concerts for the Dvořák Prague Festival.

Great classical music concerts with top soloists and great recitals

Krystian Zimerman will play the solo piano part in Bernstein’s Symphony No. 2 (“The Age of Anxiety”). After his triumphal recital in 2013, returning to the Dvořák Prague Festival is the pianist Evgeny Kissin who will be performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto in E Flat Major accompanied by the Czech Philharmonic and the conductor Petr Altrichter. Expect the most prominent classical music performers - Audience members have indelible memories of wonderful performances at the Rudolfinum Dvořák Hall by such artists as Joseph Calleja, Adam Plachetka or Jean-Yves Thibaudet etc.
