Czech Klezmer Band Trombenik at the Blues Sklep!
Jewish musicians played the Klezmer songs through the Eastern Europe, who brought their heritage to North America as well, mostly at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Trombenik spices up these tunes with jazz, Balkan spirit, Gypsy effervescence, Latin American rhythm and rock drive, and arches the music over with ethnical essence. They sing their songs in immigrant-accented English and Yiddish.
Karel Belohradsky - double bass
Radek Ryda - banjo
Vojtech Posmourny - violin
Josef von Dracek - clarinet
Adam Krejcik - drums
The concert has two times 15 minutes intermission or one time 20 minutes intermission.
