Cello Festival at Stone Bell House: Christmas final concert
We kindly invite you to a unique project of Prague classical concerts
, Festival Brikcius - the chamber music concert series at the Stone Bell House on Old Town Square. This unique classical music
festival is held during the spring and autumn of Prague classical music
season and on its concerts you can listen to cello compositions by composers of baroque and romantic era, as well as 20th and 21st centuries, with special consideration given to works by Czech, Terezin Ghetto and contemporary composers. Festival Brikcius
is a part of the Daniel Pearl World Music Days.

Czech cellist Anna Brikciusova
has, after her studies at the Prague Conservatory, actively participated in many international cello master classes, for many e.g.French Academy or International Cello Interpretation Master classes. She often performs in Czech Republic as well as abroad. Together with her brother Frantisek Brikcius she is a founding member of the "Duo Brikcius". Anna Brikciusova plays a "Benjamin Patocka" cello made in 1913.
Czech cellist Frantisek Brikcius
studied at leading music schools in the Czech Republic, UK and Japan. He chose to dedicate his life to the interpretation of cello compositions written by composers of the baroque and romantic era, as well as 20th and 21st centuries composers.Frantisek Brikcius collaborates with leading Czech artists, such as Talich Chamber Orchestra
, pianist Tomas Visek, composer Irena Kosikova or Anna Brikciusova with whom he founded the "Duo Brikcius".
Frantisek Brikcius often performs on classical music festivals
in the CZ and abroad. He is the creative soul of his own original projects, eg. "MAKANNA", "7 Candles", "eSACHERe", "Festival Brikcius". Frantisek Brikcius plays a "George Kriwalski" cello made in 1904.
