Enjoy a chamber music concert in captivating atmosphere of beautifully decorated Baroque Library Hall!
A former monastery of the
Servite Order by the church of St. Michael the Archangel has an eventful history. The church of St. Michael the Archangel was once an important medieval spiritual center, in Hussites times major preachers worked here. In the 17th century, the church was donated to the Servite Order who built up a monastery. After emperor Joseph´s reforms at the end of the 18th century the monastery was shut down.
Baroque Library Hall close to Old Town Square is a popular classical music concerts venue.
Today the former monastery buildings literally live with music - music school Collegium Marianum is located here, and in the preserved Baroque Library Hall popular chamber concerts of classical music are organized.
If you visit the concert in Baroque Library Hall, please note that tickets in the first five rows are accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine!
